Velvet Wild Safaris ("we", "us") is a private safari and travel operator based in Nairobi, Kenya. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how we protect it — in line with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.

When you enquire or book, we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, the trip you're interested in, travel dates, group size and anything you write in your message. We may later ask for passport details, dietary or medical notes where a booking or park authority requires them.
How we use it
We use your details to answer your enquiry, design and price your itinerary, make bookings on your behalf, and stay in touch about your trip. With your consent we may occasionally send trip ideas or seasonal offers — you can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
Only what's needed to run your trip: lodges, camps, airlines, park authorities and activity providers involved in your itinerary. We never sell your information or share it for unrelated marketing.
WhatsApp & phone
If you message us on WhatsApp, your chat is handled within WhatsApp's platform under their privacy terms. We use the conversation only to help plan your trip.
Cookies & analytics
This site uses a single session cookie to remember form submissions between pages. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept while your enquiry is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we can pick up where we left off. Booking records are kept as long as tax and travel regulations require.
